Diddy Punched Cassie in front of Ne-Yo, Usher and Jimmy Ivoine

Last week former Bad Boy recording artist Dawn Richard filed a shocking lawsuit against Bad Boy CEO, Sean 'Diddy' Combs [click here if you missed that].

Dawn's lawsuit claims she witnessed Diddy punch his then girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in front of other celebrities...

From XXL
A recent lawsuit filed by former Bad Boy singer Dawn Richard claims Diddy punched Cassie in the stomach at a dinner where Usher, Ne-Yo and Jimmy Iovine were present.
On Tuesday (Sept. 10), singer Dawn Richard filed suit against Diddy, accusing him of years of sexual, physical, and verbal abuse during her time signed to Bad Boy Records. In one part of the lawsuit, obtained by XXL, Richard claims she witnessed Diddy be violent with his then-girlfriend Cassie at a dinner hosted by Puff at a California restaurant in "late 2009 or early 2010." Diddy invited Usher, Ne-Yo and Interscope label founder Jimmy Iovine, among other celebrities. Those three all allegedly witnessed the assault.
"Mr. Combs hissed at [Cassie] in a screaming whisper and forcefully punched her in the stomach causing her to double over in visible pain, crying," the lawsuit reads. "[Diddy's assistant] escorted [Cassie] out of the restaurant, and Mr. Combs remained and continued socializing with the dinner guests."
Richard claimed that even though Jimmy Iovine clearly witnessed Diddy be violent with women, he inked a deal with Diddy and Bad Boy Records after the dinner.

Just sickening. No wonder he felt so bold and free to abuse women.

And yet she witnessed and endured his abuse but continued to work with him long after Cassie made her exit. It’s one thing to finally speak out, but her case makes no sense to me. I could understand if she was trying to get relieved from a work contract, but she stayed around longer than Cassie.

For the love of money

Fourteen plus years is a long time to remain silent and loyal to an abuser you’re not legally or financially tied to.

I’m more blown away from the lack of intelligence in the comments.
If Ne-Yo, Jimmy, Usher witnessed the abuse and kept silent, which I believe they did, who was going to back her up had she gone to the police? Helloooo, think for just one minute. I know it hurts to use your brain cells.
We know how Usher came up in the business being around Diddy so think about it. He still stayed silent when Cassie was seen being beaten on video at the hotel. People are really scared of him and just keeping their distance. The problem with exposing Diddy and rehashing incidents is their own dirt comes out. Look at Mary, talking about she’s retiring. That woman is about her money but now she wants to sit down and we done seen her partying it up with the Diddler. She got her a$$ beat by other men and who helped her? None!

He set them all up to remain dependent on him, black-balled them, and made sure they could not work with anyone else. Contractually obligated and financially abused.

1:14 sooo people were supposed to put themselves in harms way to protect women who were abused, but stayed for years?

At least she finally said something.

No. I’m saying why they didn’t put themselves in harms way.

Thanks to the few people on this site who understand the psychological ramifications of extreme abuse. There are no simple answers.

Everybody that was there… GUILTY… and then Jimmy Iovine signed a deal with Puff the same night… that is the work of Satan!

There are simple answers. Report him. Particularly the men. Put your integrity before your greed.

I don’t know how these ninjas can sleep at night or look at themselves in the mirror.
