Embattled rapper and hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested at a New York City hotel Monday night amid a federal six trafficking investigation, officials said.
The fallen star voluntarily traveled to the Big Apple in anticipation of his arrest on charges stemming from a grand jury indictment, according to sources.
Combs was taken into custody at the Park Hyatt New York by Homeland Security Investigations, which typically handles six trafficking probes.
It was not immediately clear Monday what charges Combs is facing. He is expected to be arraigned at Manhattan federal court Tuesday morning — at which point the indictment with the charges against him will be unsealed.
“Earlier this evening, federal agents arrested Sean Combs, based on a sealed indictment filed by the SDNY,” Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement. “We expect to move to unseal the indictment in the morning and will have more to say at that time.”

I can't empathize or celebrate Diddy's demise. I don't understand how ppl can achieve beyond their dreams & get so POWER jaded by the yes men, leaches, followers & insignificant, gullible ppl willing to do anything just to next them. WHY on earth would a person with all the means stoop to levels of cruelty & evil when you have EVERYTHING to be grateful for????

I read the indictment… the Feds taking EVERYTHING he owns and is connected to him. They’re gonna break him financially and give him years behind bars. What a waste of talent. Even with him being punished… it’s like the “Black Community” bears the weight and burden of his actions. He DECEIVED us for decades! It’s sad all around…

Where's the perp walk, a common practice in law enforcement of taking an arrested suspect, usually right after arrest, out in public, usually from the police station to the vehicle to the courthouse and then after the court hearing back to the vehicle, creating an opportunity for a media frenzy to take photographs and video of the event.
