Mariah Carey's Sister Died in Hospice Care

This week Mariah Carey announced that her mother and sister tragically died on the same day [click here if you missed that].

A friend of Mariah's sister reveals she died after spending weeks in hospice care...

From The Sun
MARIAH Carey's sister Alison went into hospice care just weeks before her death, a close friend has revealed.
The Hero hitmaker announced on Monday that her mom Patricia, 87, and sister Alison, 63, died on the same day over the weekend.
Mariah, 55, said in a statement that her "heart is broken" after the "tragic turn in events."
While a cause of death for the pair is yet to be released, a close friend and carer for Mariah's sister said she was struggling with her health before she died.
"Alison was on home hospice care for the last three weeks of her life," pal Dave Baker exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
He also revealed that Alison "had a problem with internal organs."
"Beneath a tough exterior Alison was a highly intelligent, warm, and sensitive person," Dave continued.
"I have known her for nine years and as her friend and in recent months her carer I will miss her greatly.
"Farewell Alison. May you now find peace, your tortured soul forever free from earthly pain," he concluded.

I hope that people will stop with the insensitive responses. Hospice care is basically end of life care. That means a person is expected to expire. She had a history of disease and substance abuse. That's an unhealthy combination. Considering what's been published about her in the past I'm surprised that she's lasted this long.

It's still creepy she died same day as her mother. I hope she's finally found peace.

So it wasn’t drugs but it sure lead to her death. Same difference.
At least Mariah was grateful for her last days with her mother. Still sucks because no one wants an ending this way. NOW, I can say condolences with no sarcasm attached. Hope Mimi is coping and around loved ones who can comfort her.
