Last month actor Jonathan Majors hired a new legal team to represent him in the defamation of character lawsuit filed against him by his ex girlfriend, Grace Jabbari [click here if you missed that].
Now Majors' legal team is asking for more time to respond...
From In TouchAccording to court documents obtained by In Touch, Jonathan’s newly hired legal team asked the judge for additional time to respond to Grace’s lawsuit. The attorney requested the deadline to respond be pushed from August 15 to September 19.
The lawyer said, “The Parties are in agreement that an extension beyond August 15, 2024 is necessary for the following reasons; (1) [Jonathan’s] counsel is still in the process of gathering the relevant file with respect to the case; and (2) counsel for [Grace] and [Jonathan] are currently engaged in important dialogue regarding the case and need additional time to have these extensive discussions.”
Grace, 31, filed her suit accusing the actor of assault, battery and defamation.
Jonathan, 34, was found guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of seconds-degree assault in January but was acquitted on other charges. The former Marvel star was arrested in March 2023 after an incident with Grace. Jonathan denied all claims of wrongdoing.

He never defamed her. She did all the talking and chasing for that matter. The judge should throw the case out.
His original lawyers effed him up and gave her an opening. They were really incompetent.
Those text messages And audio messages that he sent her of previous times where he beat this woman is what messed him up! He tried to paint a picture that this was a whywoman falsely accusing! Per his own text messages and audio messages this man was knocking this woman head between the refrigerator and the stove now when he does it to meg good I don't want to hear NOTHING! Megan is an uplifting Black Woman and doesn’t need to worry about Jonathan putting his hands on her. She’s a submissive Woman of good character. Mr. Majors know’s he has a Queen to his Kingdom in her.
Soooo if Megan wasn't submissive she would have to worry about h him putting handle on her? Wow that's crazy submissive or not noneomam should have to worry about a man hitting them.
