DNC Ratings Soar After Beyoncé Rumor

Last week false rumors spread claiming Beyoncé was going to be a surprise guest on the final night of the Democratic National Convention.

DNC ratings get a noticeable boost from The BeyHive...

From Variety
The fourth and final night of the Democratic National Convention brought in an average of 26.2 million viewers, boosted by a speech from presidential nominee Kamala Harris, during which viewership peaked at 28.9 million.
That marks a solid improvement from the first three nights’ steady viewership: Nielsen estimated that 20 million people tuned in on Monday, followed by 20.8 million on Tuesday and 20.2 million on Wednesday.
Overall, the DNC was more widely watched than the Republican National Convention. The final night of the RNC brought in 24.5 million average viewers, peaking at 28.4 million during Donald Trump’s speech — just under Harris’ peak. The RNC opened with 18.1 million viewers on its first night before dipping down to 14.8 million on the second night and jumping back up to 18 million on the third.
