It’s the end of the road for Cardi B and Offset, again.
Cardi B filed for divorce from her estranged husband on Wednesday, her rep confirmed to Page Six.
The rep did not provide additional details, but we’re told Cardi is seeking primary custody of their children — and that this time she’s not folding.
A source familiar with the situation told Page Six that the latest rumors Offset cheated were not the straw that broke the camel’s back for Cardi.
“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider claimed. “This is something she wants to do.”
A source told us that Cardi’s main priority is “obtaining primary custody” of their two children. There has also been speculation that she’s expecting a third child — but Cardi has not publicly confirmed she’s pregnant, or acknowledged the speculation.
We’re told the divorce did not come as a surprise for Offset, since “they both have been trying to figure out what their future looks like for a while now,” the source said.
“It’s not something that happened overnight … They’ve both been on the same page. There wasn’t [pushback]. They’ve grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It’s become unavoidable,” the insider added.
Offset and Cardi were married in September 2017. But they’ve split up several times throughout the marriage — including in 2020, when Cardi first filed for divorce, but then reconciled with her hubby.
Today, however, “she’s focused on moving on,” a source said.
“She has no ill will towards him. She’s wishing him the best. She’s not going into this next season [of her life] with any beef or any drama. She wants everything to be very peaceful,” the source concluded.

She definitely tried. I'm sure she gave it her all. In the end he didn't love her the same. Hopefully he doesn't end up broke and strung out.

She should never herself or through a publicist make this statement whether true or not! Keep it between husband and wife, and once the divorce decree has been granted, then and only then make the announcement should she choose. They are annoying at this point.
She will be aight. It is just sad that more black children will be growing up without both parents in the home. I do not believe he was cheating on her with a pregnant, married, ex who just lost her own husband. HOWEVER, I do not like the fact that he did NOT say I am not cheating on my wife Cardi because I love her and my family, or anything that would elude to that. She can do better than him.

Black men are the biggest victims. I'm sure she did everything in her power to please him and be a good wife. He wanna be in the streets so bad. Ain't nothing in the streets but hookers and drugs. He gonna end up with 5 more baby mommas. Cardi will be ok. I think she should get into acting.

I hope Cardi gets every dollar she wants hopefully he isn't the messy tell all type but I also think her management made her make the statement this could be for her album rollout to 1 save her from embarrassment or 2 fake divorce for album promo a new song most likely a heartbreak or a F these men type of hit record
