Usher is set to bring his electrifying concert experience to the big screen with the release of USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS.
The film, which captures Usher's performance during Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale, will premiere in cinemas worldwide for a limited run beginning Sept. 12.
Tuesday’s announcement comes from AMC Theatres, Trafalgar Releasing, and Sony Music Vision, which have partnered to bring this unique concert film to audiences worldwide.
USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS promises to deliver an intimate and immersive experience, blending the essence of Usher's acclaimed Vegas residencies with a distinctive French flair. The film showcases some of Usher's biggest hits, including "Yeah!," "My Boo" and "Love In This Club," performed with stunning new costumes and cutting-edge lighting and special effects. Alongside the concert footage, viewers will get an exclusive look behind the scenes, offering a glimpse into Usher's life offstage.
The concert film will be screened in 2,000 cinemas worldwide, with about 1,000 locations in the United States. Screenings will take place at AMC, ODEON, and various other theaters globally.
In a statement, Usher shared his excitement about the film: "Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans. I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was. For those of you who were there, I hope you see the show through a different lens."

I have to give Usher a lot of credit for persevering through his life's journey from child star, adult and father. The scrutiny he went through left many entertainers dead, broke or drugged out. Plus, his talent helped him stay relevant.
Nice concept but I'm not sure people are going to buy tickets to this and then show up to a theater to watch. Streaming is the future.
This announcement is a huge distraction from his lover's bad news. I see you Usher. Still protecting one of your rapists I see.
