Tyler Perry to Receive The Paley Honors Award

Tyler Perry will receive the prestigious Paley Honors Award this fall...

The Paley Center for Media will pay tribute to actor, writer, director, producer, studio owner, and philanthropist Tyler Perry with its highest honor, The Paley Honors award, at its fall gala in Los Angeles. The event will take place on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 pm at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Over the course of his career, Perry has produced over 2,000 episodes of television, and directed, written, and produced 28 feature films. He began his career writing plays, many of which became the inspiration for his films, and has since gone on to create memorable bold characters, relatable stories, and blockbuster franchises, including the iconic Madea.
Also a business leader and philanthropist, Perry celebrated the historic opening of Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta in 2019.
“Throughout my career, I have strived to bring people together and to give a voice to those often underrepresented in media,” said Perry. “Media has served as a vital platform for this mission, and I’m honored to receive this award from The Paley Center for Media, an organization that has dedicated itself to spotlighting the power and importance of media.”

William Paley created CBS. He set the pattern for much of what you see on tv. Unyielding racist by definition of class.

So now nobody likes Tyler Perry? Lol.

And CBS is owned by Paramount which also owns BET. They take care of their own.

The Paley Honors are honoring that closeted black male for portraying blacks as ignorant bastard creating demons. Whites are patting him on the back for his "good job" of reinforcing racial stereotypes and continually programming blacks to behave like garbage. They wouldn't let that group of black men purchase BET, where they could create their own programming. Those black males would have kept the coon programming, but the powers that be did not want to take the chance of anything positive happening for blacks.

They were blocked from buying BET and gave him the coon award for making blacks look like dumbasses on TV and film.
