Tim Norman Appeal Denied

Back in February Tim Norman from "Welcome to Sweetie Pies" filed an appeal claiming his civil rights had been violated after he was convicted for orchestrating the murder of his nephew, Andre Montgomery, and sentenced to life in prison [click here if you missed that].

The appeal has been denied...

A former reality TV star was denied an appeal after he was convicted of murder-for-hire in St. Louis last year.
Tim Norman was sentenced to life in federal prison in March 2023 for murder-for-hire against his nephew, Andre Montgomery Jr. Montgomery died in 2016, two years after Norman took out a life insurance policy on him.
A court of appeals ruled that the sentence would stay in place.
Norman argued in his appeal that certain pieces of evidence and the testimony of certain witnesses prejudiced the jury against him. The court argued that jury instructions negated these issues.
Norman and his family were known for the reality TV show "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
