Leg clots can kill. Why did they endanger her life when she went the extra length (lol) and expense she needed.

She should have set up special arrangements for that with Southwest. You can’t just make up your own rules because of your illness. American Airlines have specifics for this like ADA compliance but you must set it up when you book the ticket. Celebrities and their entitlements are the worse
If she paid for the seat and they weren't over booked I don't see the problem.
^^^Exactly. She paid for the second seat. AA said she couldn't have the second seat because she didn't have a "cast" on her leg. She had on a brace. They wanted to give the seat to someone else. I hope she sues and wins.
7:10AM What are you talking about? It's not entitlement to pay for two different seats and expect two seats. No mentioned in this post but other articles, she also had her tickets flagged as medical with Southwest and arranged a wheelchair escort to/from the plane. Southwest was wrong and she should sue them.

When someone is too fat for one seat don't they let them take over another seat they didn't pay for? I don't know. I'm just asking.
