The "Hot in Here" rapper planned the ultimate surprise baby shower for his pregnant wife, and to say that she was shocked by the gesture would be an understatement.
As the couple stepped off the elevator at the Dolce & Gabbana baby boutique in New York City, Ashanti was met by a group of her friends and family, who were eagerly waiting to yell "surprise."
"Oh my god, I thought I was coming to a photoshoot," she said to her guests in a reshared Instagram Story July 1. "I'm in shock. Thank you guys so much, I love guys, I appreciate you. Thank you."
Nelly—who sported a black polo shirt and matching black pants—was beaming next to the singer, who looked stunning in a yellow Dolce and Gabbana skirt and bra top set.
