Three months ago Olympian Simone Biles admitted she was 'broken' by the backlash her husband, professional football player Jonathan Owens, received after he referred to himself as "the catch" in their relationship [click here if you missed that].

Jonathan Owens wasn’t fazed by the backlash to him referring to himself as “the catch” in his relationship with wife Simone Biles.
“I have all my social media notifications off, so I didn’t even know for a while,” Owens, 28, exclusively told Us Weekly of the public response while promoting his partnership with GoodSport. “I was actually with my mom and Simone whenever it came out, so, all the comments and everything, I just let them read it. I try to stay off of it, and obviously if you feel like stuff is kind of getting out of hand, that’s when you reach in and say something.”
The NFL athlete added that there’s no winning when it comes to responding to trolls.
“I don’t mean to cuss, but like, damned if you do, damned if you don’t,” he said. “If you say something, they’re going to say something; if you don’t say something, they’re going to say something. So, just live your life. People are going to talk about you anyway, so you might as well do it the way you want to.”

If Simone is only interested in Blk men then he IS the catch! He is young, 6'4, handsome, no felonies, no baby mamas, 500k salary. Now you tell me how many BLK men fit that description???? The only problem is the way he worded it. He should have just said "I'm a rarity" and left it at that. Saying "I am the catch" just sounds corny......
Leave them alone. I don’t get the needed validation from so called fans and others. They are a married couple enjoying their lives. All of this scrutinizing his words where there is no point in doing is really intrusive and weird!

Any married person will tell you that they have inside jokes amongst themselves which may sound bad to outsiders. His tongue slipped to the public and he didn't realize how brutal her fans can be. Just block the noise and keep it pushing. If he looked like Rick Ross, folks would have taken it as a joke. But because he's actually cute he got these chicks' panties in a bunch.
