Drake Appearance Raises Eyebrows

Drake goes viral after his first appearance sine the release of Kendrick Lamar's earth shattering diss track, "Not Like Us..."

From The Sun
DRAKE was among the many A-list celebrities who attended Mike Rubin's annual White Party.
The rapper sparked concern after he posed for a picture with a drained appearance, as fans felt Drake looked "off."
The Hotline Bling rapper was seen wearing a cream-colored ensemble in an Instagram post shared via Mike Rubin following the party.
However, fans were more concerned with his facial expression, saying he looked sad.
"Drake looks off," said one Instagram user.
"Drake looks so sad," said another, while a third said, "Drake looks depressed."
In addition to his drained appearance, fans pointed out that the Grammy-winning artist seems to be aging quickly.
"Drake looks like he aged 10 years in 3 months," said one social media user.
Another asked, "Why does drake look like an old man?"
Others mentioned his recent conflict with rapper Kendrick Lamar.
The two have been in a very public rap beef over the last few months.
One commented, "Holy face of defeat."
"Drake aged like 20 years since the beef," wrote another.

A huge picture of Drake's and Mike Rubin's heads together at the party was on the front page of Friday's NY Times. There's a message in there somewhere.

Wheelchair Jimmy gets way too much attention. I never understood his appeal.

No. Drake just looks like that. White or cream not his color. Lol.

Where is Mr all Brains and No Body? As they wheeled off into the south wing with a Canine not far behind while the DJ played they not like us.

BBL Drizzy seeking sympathy. Yawn. Trying to strike a chord and it's probably a minor!

He looks how you would expect a middle age colonizer from Canada to look. Doing blackface and faking a whole lifestyle for over a decade is draining and the little bit of melanin he has can only do so much. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Get back across the border Aubrey.

This whole dragging is so funny to me. It's sad too but he's rich and can go hide somewhere for a minute so no sympathy here.

No mention of the fact that the video for NLU also dropped while he was at the party. Drake likes to play cool, but it's easy to tell that his self esteem is attached to being "that dude" and Kendrick took the juice from him. Plus you just know that Drake is out here reading the comments. This wasn't just any rap beef, and Drake wasn't just any rapper. Kendrick literally dethroned him. And while the pedo allegations were in the background before, Kendrick really shined light on them. Plus Drake still owes more albums to his label, so he can't just go quietly sit down.

Drake is 37 and looks 37. It's just that folks just now realizing how old he really is because he tries to act so young. He was popular my senior year and I have a teenager now.

2 :54, You are so ignorant. Drake's dad's family are Black folks from Memphis. Matter of fact, his folks were major musicians and writers for Al Green and other soul greats under Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios.I bet you danced to those Al Green songs his uncle Teenie wrote you hypocrite.

His other BLOOD uncle is the great bassist , Larry Graham, who played for Sly and the Family Stone as well as Prince and others. You can't erase his Black heritage no matter how hard to try. You all only hate him because he's mixed race, you demon. You all are doing to him what happens to every legend like Michael and Whitney, which is destroy them after building them up. Music industry is pure demonic. Kendrick blasphemed the Lord and did the ritual by wearing a diamond throne crown. They will lift him up and tear him down too. All rituals.

Drake is still fine AF. His ego may be hurt because of jealousy. Ninjas turn on you like pancake every day. The sooner he gets over it and get back to the music he’ll be aiight!! He has a $400 million deal, Kendrick doesn’t.

Drake need to get back to how he established $240 net worth over Kendrick’s $75 million and keep it moving.

5:15 blasphemed the Lord?!? Which Lord, Jesus? The letter J didn't exist until the 1524. The Lord's name wasn't Jesus, and you can't call in somebody by the wrong name and expect them to show up.

Ahhhh , I noticed when responding to @5:15 , you didnt challenge his knowledge of Drake's heritage , the most important part of the discussion/song.

Drake is of African descent , so how is he not like us.

The song is trash and the message it conveys is trash.

Black is Black is Black

6:14 you are trying but let me invite you to a different view of your logic.
I'm an African-American with a mother that grew up during the Civil Rights movement and during the drug epidemic that plagued our community. What she endured was subconsciously transferred to me through my upbringing. Trauma does that.

Similarly for those same American families with generational traumas that only allows for one or two, if any, to escape the hood (cue the well-known theme song of "GOOD TIMES" )

Yet we also have many of African decent that actually grew up on Africa that dealt with French and British colonizers, let's say Aparthied for example.

Black is black is black?? That's the color of our skin says to the other races when it's is far from the truth. You are a blond victim that believes our skin tones don't reflect culture and just like fair skinned people from many parts of the world, our culture differs.

Have you ever watched Malibu most wanted? It's not just about race, no one has dared called Eminem that. It's about portraying a lifestyle.

Either way, my true point is that black is not just black. That is like saying all Africans are the same. Comparing Carribeans to those in South America. It's a bit ignorant

And Drake had the audacity to put Pac on his diss track as if he repping a set. Pac's death is real and Drake made it seem like it's sweet or a joke, quite frankly he doesn't understand the depth of West Coast culture

You don’t make any sense. Drake is black. Why is that? Cause his daddy is black. Eminem is a bad comparison. Not only is he not of the black struggle, cause I’ve never heard of black people co-signing for trailer park poor as the same as them, he raps about ish that black rappers wouldn’t dare to say.
Hell, Tupac grew up struggling and still spoke highly of his mother! Eminem is a beast simply because white and other non black kids related and he overpowered black rappers in that era that ANY black person look stupid trying to dismiss his talent! Black people not giving that same love to Kendrick and it shows by his success. Kendrick been in the game a long time where he could have amassed the same success as Drake but he didn’t. That because black people don’t support like non black people. Ya pockets ain’t deep and ya don’t like Kendrick lake you claim.
Drake’s daddy from Memphis. He snagged a white woman like most hood boogers do, stay awhile and then eventually leave. That alone is Drake’s black culture/experience. His black ass daddy left him like yours did. That’s what you all accept and know how to do well. Blame the white man on why black men are not present in homes. Why black men don’t work to provide for their kids instead of having the courts involved.
Drake can show a million mitzvah videos which by the way Sammy Davis, Jr was Jewish, and still be black.
I agree with the other commenter. Not Like Us is a miss.
Not Like Us is a hood broke anthem, not a black culture anthem. Stop acting like ALL black people grew up in the hood!

5 :37. Yes, totally agree. If I'm in my 100 million dollar mansion I wouldn't care who hated my arse. It's just sad seeing how many brothers are in past videos hugging and capping like they loved him but inwardly were jealous the entire time.
They are literally trying to deny the man of his Black heritage when I know some of his folks and you can't get any Blacker or more soulful. What's happening to him happened to Whitney Houston and MJ. It's a part of that evil industry. You are right though, folks turn like pancakes. I hope he keeps a list of everyone who turned on him so he never makes the mistake of helping them or even shaking their hand. Once someone shows you who they are, believe it the first time.

7 :00 I'm from the West coast so do enlighten us about a culture I come from where the rappers are phony and use Compton and Long Beach for clout before going back to their multi million dollar mansions surrounded by YT folks. Lol When Kendrick's mentor, Dr. Dre, got ready to give $70 million away, he gave it to the richest YT university that already has a multi billion dollar endowment and rich alumni. Dre didn't give it to help any Blacks on the West Coast. Lol When Kendrick's song became a hit he went a bought a $40 mansion and it's not in Compton. Lol. Now, as for Tupac, he's very much like Drake! Tupac went to a performing arts school with Jada and is not really from the West because he's lived everywhere. At one time he claimed New York. Tupac wasn't a gangster, he was a good guy. Some of you are very gullible.

He’s just aging in YT years on top of having his daddy’s unfortunate droopy face.

Ozempic face.

Which of you has the audacity to approach his father and say he ain't Black. And if you say you would then you truly are lost.
Questioning the heritage of a black man , WOW

Radio stations are still bumping Drake. I don’t get the he’s finished rhetoric.

1 :52 They think only one Black person can be on top at a time. There is no more Motown where numerous Black stars flourished. Just like now it's Beyonce when Jazmine Sullivan is one heck of a talented singer and Kerry Hilson was one heck of an entertainer.

I really don't get the back and forth over some soft dude that cares nothing or knows any of you. You need to be thinking about voting and who is running for House of Rep in your local district, including president. That's where the change is going to happen in your life.
Drake and this celebrity chasing Yt man will not help your daily needs.

Oh na na payola said...

Drake is more important musically than all these rappers going after him combined. And this the race always pretending they want peace and unity. Drake just surpassed Rihanna in an achievement and is in the same sentence of accomplishments as MJ Elvis and the Beatles.
