This year on Father's Day singer Victoria Monét shared a picture of her dad, noting it was the first Father's Day they ever spent together.
Apparently Victoria was not the only child her father left behind because now another woman has come forward claiming she was abandoned by the same man.

She's not crazy and it is the same nose.
I just don't understand why our people is the worst when it comes to family. Fatherless kids in our community, it's like a never-ending epidemic. We are doing better, but we still have a long way to go.
While it’s nice that that is her sister, it’s the forcing of a connection with her. Focus on the deadbeat. Right now he is looking crazy coming forward now that she is a well known singer.

I have never met my father. At least she's seen hers and knows who he is. Who Know's. Maybe it's best not to know the absentee fathers. If they leave and you never see them, what kind of person are they.
Women need to know who they are having kids by, instead of going raw dawg.

@6:21PM Easy answer to your question: girls/women need to stop having children with boys/men that are not ready or equipped to be fathers. Most women know if a guy ain't ready. Hell...a lot of women know they're not ready either. Sometimes you just need to get the dick and keep it moving!

Man like him and it’s a lot of them men our community they runoff until these kids get grown. They show back up in these children’s lives when they become adults once they see that these adults have made something for themselves all the time they may not be rich and famous, but they may have a successful career, and or they are popping up in these adults, lives for them to take care of them because they no longer have anybody in their life that is going to take care of them in their old age. I really want for us to leave these deadbeats where they at I’m glad my father has always been in my life, but if he had not been in my life, I would not be allowing him in my life as an adult when things are easy and you don’t have to really be a parent
DNA paternity testing should be mandatory for a hospital deliveries.

Everytime you date a man some women think it's o.k to have a baby with them. Sometimes knowing that the n!gga ain't worth 2 cents and is barely there for you and you expect him to be around for a baby. Then we have a baby with no father. And the cycle continues a bunch of fatherless babies.

It's ez to say be a better father. But unfortunately our community suffered through the centuries so many grew up without good examples and experience what a good father is. And they don't have the sense when they are young to step up and do the hard work to figure it out. A day by day process. Messed up. And I do agree it's better not to know a person that don't got it together.
