This week it was reported that Kenya Moore had been fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta after an alleged incident with a new cast member [click here if you missed that].
Now insiders are claiming Kenya is the one who decided to leave the show, not the other way around...

Sources close to production tell us that the incident involving newcomer Brittany Eady was pivotal in Kenya Moore leaving the franchise.
During her filmed Hair Spa grand opening, Kenya Moore allegedly had an altercation with Brittany Eady, who was accused of making threats involving a firearm earlier in filming. In return, Moore is accused of showing poster-sized explicit images of Brittany Eady at the event. These claims have not been confirmed.
Moore’s departure allegedly stemmed from her dissatisfaction with how production handled the situation, insiders tell us.
Contrary to earlier reports of her firing, Moore was not officially terminated following her reported suspension. Instead, sources indicate she chose to step away from the show due to disagreements with production over the alleged threats and safety concerns involving Eady.

It's funny how ppl on this franchise try to outdo their original antics each season, just to stay on the show. They end up going overboard, to out due them self. Then, they cross the line, only to get chopped from the show.
Over firearm safety? Well, why would Bravo not fire the other woman then. That would be an automatic termination. That story doesn’t even make sense!

I read that the weapons claim against Eady was investigated and proven untrue. Because of confidentiality , the networks likely won't say if Kenya was fired, but who would leave that easy check willingly? So Kenya could said she quit because noone from corporate will likely tell anyway if she got fired. Could be she quit before receiving a termination letter too. Either way, we all know she didn't want to lose that easy check that requires no skill or any hard work. BRAVO is the easiest gig in Hollywood. What doesn't make sense is Kenya allegedly ruining her own business. So did she really do it? We may never know. What I do know is that acting gigs over 50 for women can be hard to get.

If Kenya was truly threatened with gum she would have had security at her event, Kenya is lying. If someone threatened me with a gum, I would have not invited her to my hair salon nor have that person's pics blown up any where near me. Loosing an easy million dollar bag over being evil, hope it was worth it.
