Rihanna Embraces Postpartum Hair Loss

Last week Rihanna announced the official launch of Fenty Hair [click here if you missed that].

Now the mom of two speaks candidly about suffering from postpartum hair loss...

From E! News
Rihanna shared insight into her experience with postpartum hair loss and how she learned to accept it after welcoming sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 10 months, who she shares with A$AP Rocky.
"That was not on the pamphlet," Rihanna told Refinery29 in an interview published June 12. "I did not expect it to happen in waves, either. I thought it would just happen and grow back."
The "Lift Me Up" singer shared that patches of hair fell off in different places around her head. And although she had "enough" of it, she also came to accept this part of her postpartum journey.
"I learned to embrace that in itself," she admitted. "That actually made me get a little more creative and clever with my hair stuff."

It’s all good babe. Women start going bald after a certain age too! You gotta embrace your George Jefferson & stop hiding behind wigs & braids. You are not your hair. ❤️

Probably more due to damage from continuous hair dying, weaving and hair manipulation.

Please let natural hair be a trend.

Smh Rihanna needs to leave the hair care to Kenya, Tracee, Taraji and Beyoncé, and stay in her makeup lane. It’s feels rushed and the fact she had to hide her hair at first while pushing the product just put me off.

Lol. My troll got triggered. Never said it couldn't be postpartum hair loss. Reading is fundamental. How about you stick to what YOU know and stop worrying about my opinions. Now let's see if Snitch deletes your comment for violating the rules on not attacking other comments.
I swear when school lets out for the summer, here comes the immature children.

My sister's whole hairline thinned out after giving birth to my neice. The complete oppsite for my cousin, her hair just thinned but she still had the length. Thank God postpartum hair lost is temporary and your hair will grow back to normal.

We don't care. Not buying it. Beyonce should have come out with a weave line and I agree Rihanna needs to stay in her makeup lane. How much money do these celebs need to wash for those heaux payouts from rich Arabs and CEO's, damn!

I agree with Rih. Made me more.creative with my hair..

Being an influencer is really the way to go these. Music, Movies and Modeling just don't pay like they used to. Hollywood is truly done! I guess that ls why these fools are all about to be exposed.

Congratulations Rih! They said the same about your makeup line and it's still breaking records. There's always an element of risk when starting a new business. Good for her dancing to the beat of her own drum in her own life regardless of what others say.

@R in NYC you didn't say it, but you definitely implied it.......carry on

So proud of this woman. Talented, beautiful and so very smart. Keep going and don’t stop Riri🎉🎉🎉

Talented? Eh. No, I don't classify choosing songs as a talent. Just means you have good sense and good taste. Put me in her position and I would choose hit songs too. She's very intelligent I give her that. Talking mouthy on IG was what made her loved by colored people. And her Work song. Yall love the celebs who seem a little hood without actually being hood (Rihanna) and despise those that don't say anything back (Sasha Fierce). She used to be beautiful, not anymore.
