Megan Thee Stallion Wins Copyright Infringement Lawsuit

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion comes out victorious after being accused of stealing the beat for her smash hit song, "Savage..."

Warner Music successfully defended Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” from copyright infringement claims brought by hip-hop producer James Greene, who said the rapper’s 2020 hit single infringed on his instrumental track “It’s About To Be On.” There is no evidence that Megan or Warner had access to Greene’s track, which was not widely distributed, and there is no substantial similarity between the songs’ instrumentation, drum patterns or vocals.

Her and Cardi stay with the winning legal teams.๐ŸŽฏ People need to stop playing in these two's faces because they are built different. They are smart enough to get representation that's as Beyonce says "is their sword and sheild". They got top tier lawyers that stay on lock down. They must be paying a h*ll of a retainer๐Ÿ’ฏ
