Delroy Lindo Cut from Blade

Last week the original Blade star, Wesley Snipes, trolled Marvel after it was announced that the new Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali had been pushed back until 2026 after a series of set backs [click here if you missed that].

Now its being reported that actor Delroy Lindo has been let go from the cast...

...Demange’s Blade was batting its wings toward a shoot starting in May 2023 and hired yet another writer, True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto, also an Ali pick, to bring the script over the finish line. But it was all for naught, as the writers strike, then the actors strike, shut the movie down. “People have missed about three windows to shoot other movies or shows,” an agent notes.
But unlike several other Marvel projects that were shut down and then restarted — including Deadpool & Wolverine and Thunderbolts — Blade instead let most of its actors go, Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre among them, and went through more writers.

Everything Delroy Lindo touches is beyond spectacular. That man doesn't get his just due and should have his flowers delivered in a wheelbarrow. He's a great talent and I'm sad to see he's no longer attached to this project. He was incredible in Spike Lee's The Three Bloods. His performance was nothing short of amazing.

When have you ever seen him in action pictures fighting? He is always the calm but don’t f’ck with character in his projects. Clearly, you haven’t seen any of his work to say that!

^ I've seen his work but not feeling him in a Horror flick. I stand my ground on my comment. Thank you very much. Besides he's chopped so no need to discuss it further.

But you apparently haven’t to assume he would be actually doing fight scenes like Wesley Snipes. Like, uhh, what movie has he done where he was doing all that? You got him confused with someone else obviously. Your comment made no sense but that’s usually what people do, who don’t know what they’re talking about, down on ignorance.
