Ava DuVernay Drags Linda Fairstein Following Settlement of When They See Us Lawsuit

Four years ago former New York prosecutor Linda Fairstein filed a defamation of character lawsuit against director Ava DuVernay and Netflix over her portrayal in, "When They See Us," the docudrama based on the Central Park 5 case [click here if you missed that].

Ava calls out Fairstein for pulling the plug on the case before going to trial...

In a statement shared on social media DuVernay confirms Fairstein did not get anything she asked for in her settlement, and since she also refused to stop speaking on the Central Park 5 case, Ava was free to continue to speak on the former prosecutor's conduct.

Ha...ha....she couldn't take the heat or the impending shame from being cross examined. I hope she goes bankrupt.

I'm so glad to see Ava DuVernay did not bend to Linda Fairstein's threats. There's a special place in hell for Linda, who is someone that thought so carelessly about those young men and their reputation, that she risked everything in their lives just so she could reap the benefits of appearing like a winner, when the truth is she is not. Linda Fairstein is a loser and she continues to prove it even to this day. I don't believe there's any redemption for her.

That hideous, racist troglodyte looks like a man. I can't wait for the sun to remove them from this planet.
