Sean Kingston has been arrested alongside his mom just hours after cops launched a dramatic raid on his Florida mansion.
"This evening, police in Fort Irwin, CA, arrested Kisean Anderson, aka Sean Kingston without incident on a Broward Sheriff's Office arrest warrant for numerous fraud and theft charges," Public Information Officer Carey Codd told Fox News Digital.
"According to investigators, he will be booked into jail in San Bernardino, CA."
The raid is linked to a lawsuit filed in February accusing Kingston of failing to pay for a $150,000 entertainment system in September 2023, according to ABC affiliate WPLG.
The lawsuit, filed by Ver Ver Entertainment, claims Kingston, 34, only made a partial $30,000 payment for the 232-inch television and entertainment system.
The Beautiful Girls rapper never paid for the product in full after the system was installed at his home in December 2023, according to the filing.
After the work was finished, Kingston allegedly provided a list of excuses for not making the payments.
In late January, a representative with Ver Ver Entertainment went to Kingston's home to obtain the remaining balance but was instead met by the rapper's cousin, who denied knowing anything about the issue.
Employees of Ver Ver Entertainment were said to be at the house Thursday, taking down the equipment.
Dennis Card, the company's attorney revealed to Fox affiliate WSVN that he had known about the raid for months.
Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was born in Miami and moved to his family’s native Jamaica at the age of 6, attending high school in the country before moving back to South Florida.
