9:01am you worded that very nicely cuz I was gone say she clearly got this role because of her parents and she lacks stage presence and it looks like she never rehearsed she just showed up the day of. Unless they trying to pull a Beyoncé blue ivy move where they had blue up there looking stiff and lost like she was stiff and lost, but miraculously she found her beat and rhythm when I feel like they’ve been had that girl practicing and they had her come out there to create a hype of her dancing I’ll stiff and no movement so that people can really be like oh my God look how much she has progressed over the tour. She really did her thing.

Now here’s an example of nepotism at its best. Clearly her parents pulled some strings to get her the role, and it even looks like Kanye had a hand in designing her costume because why is it different from everyone else’s? Smh. This is embarrassing. Kanye and Kim need to focus on North’s artistry in painting/drawing and hone in on that. This ain’t it.
Blue Ivy worked hard to get on stage with her mother and worked harder to stay there. North seems to think being her daddy's daughter is enough to get over. I can't say anything else because I'm not into trashing children.
The video online is so cringe. The poor kid can’t sing at all and has zero stage presence. It’s sad other children with actual talent were pushed aside for this nepo kid.

To those defending her awful performance. Please stop. Jason Weaver was 11 when he played the role for lion king. Also there are audition videos circulating online of the other kids who were tapped for Simba, and they sound way better. If it were a school play I wouldn’t care, but on this level it should’ve been a child more suited for the role.
It’s a good look for Kim not North. She’s trying really hard cause this kid is just being a talentless kid.
Kim/Kanye should really stop trying to compete with the Carters. First Blue work very hard with the professional dancers, and it showed. She also practiced every day. Also the completion with Kanye/Kim trying to be better than the Carter’s is so annoying.
