Monique would be a major movie star if she wasn't such a twisted narcissist. When she refused to promote Precious unless paid extra, all the other movie studios took note. Oprah didn't have to tell them not to hire Monique; they observed her behavior and her stank attitude and chose not to ever employ her for anything even though she had earned an Oscar. There are one or 2 folks I can't stand, but you'll never know, unless you ask. I don't like thinking about people I dislike. I don't like talking about them either. Why devote mental energy and time to someone I hate? And they had beef like 15 something years ago? Please note how Oprah isn't paying Monique a drop of attention. Monique is just an atom in Oprah's universe. And I'm not an Oprah Stan I just see how boring and pathetic this makes Monique look. I think she realizes that Oprah is the only remote interesting thing she has going for herself, so that's the only thing she talks about.

I don't get along with my siblings and I have people I've known for 10+ plus years, who think I'm an only child. I don't talk about my family at all! Monique is looking for a mother figure and she's mad that Oprah isn't that for her. Mo needs therapy.

Why is she always so vulgar? This is why I can't get with her or stomach watching her for ten seconds, because she seems incapable of communicating intelligently on stage. It's almost as if she thinks her audience is too dumb to understand anything she says without cussing.
@8:55 That is precisely the point. Other celebs are paid to do this. They're expenses are covered by the production or the studio. One of the reasons she didn't do it is because she would've had to come out of pocket. Numerous celebs have said that the deal wasn't good. Her pay for the movie was $50K. She would've been in the hole if she self promoted.
