Over the past two weeks Drake fans have been insisting, against all odds, that Drake won the rap battle between himself and Kendrick Lamar, despite Kendrick clearly washing Drake with the hugely popular "Not Like Us [click here if you missed that].
Looks like Drake is done, despite his fans waiting for another response...
Over the weekend Drake shared a message on Instagram indicating the rap battle was fun, but summer vibes are up next.

Good. Drake must have seen the New York Times article crowning Mr. Lamar as the best. Even the "Old Gray Lady" weighed in on this azz whoopin'. Glad Drake bowed out.
He knows that more beef would ruin his career even further. Between BBL Drizzy and They Not Like Us, his popularity is tanking. His pop fans may want more, but he knows that losing core music lovers and hip hop fans means the end of his career. He'd be smart to take a few months to let this cool off and try for a Christmas time release that's a certified banger.

I never listed to not like us, but someone sent me the bbl drizzy challange and that mess was beyond hilarious, that will always legendary, rapping bbl, a nun doing bbl drizzy, Gregorian chants, merengue, sign language bbl, sax, violin bbl, even some Japanese throw in. That is beyond classic.

I think Kendrick should enjoy his success off Drake name in the 20 v 1 battle. But I truly don't think Drake care like that. Just my opinion.
