Ed Lover Confirms Steve Harvey Bernie Mac Ocean's Eleven Urban Legend
A popular urban legend in the Black community, recently confirmed when comedian Katt Williams kicked off 2024 dropping truth bombs about the comedy community on the Club Shay Shay podcast [click here if you missed that], claimed that comedian Steve Harvey went behind his Kings of Comedy tour mate, Bernie Mac's back, and tried to steal Bernie's break-out role in the 2001 box office smash, "Ocean's Eleven" after Bernie had already been cast.
Now Ed Lover is confirming he got the story straight from Bernie Mac...
Ed tells the Culture Club Uncensored podcast,
"All I can say is what Bernie told me. He was upset with Steve because he said Steve tried to get him taken off the Ocean's Eleven movie and tried to vie for his part after Bernie was already hired."

Steve has been throwing rocks and hiding his hands for a very long time.
Not surprised. SH was only funny to me when he was MC on TV version of Amateur Night at the Apollo when a heckler would holla at him from the audience. His response of playing the dozen was funny but his jokes are not.

Bernie, himself described the Steve incident as the most disappointing event that happened to him in Hollywood. He saying he considered Steve as a brother, friend
I have always believed this story because Steve is extremely insecure! When The Isley Brothers & EWF had their verzuz, he treated D-Nice as if he was the help. He was very dismissive and clearly didn't want to share the spotlight. Steve annoys me and I rarely if ever, watch anything he's associated with.
Been ava n done wid Steve after he did Mary like he did her 4 green eyed Majorie. Not to mention his 3k 4 a wig line up dem bug fake teen n heavy balls.
