Last month Beyoncé's country music single, "Texas Hold 'Em," spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart [click here if you missed that].
Now Beyoncé has made chart history in the UK with the first country music album and single to reach No. 1...
From The Daily Mail
She's breaking records and making history with her first ever country album.
And Beyonce has just broken yet another record by scoring a historic UK Official Chart Double on Friday.
The Texas-born star has officially become the first black artist to reach number 1 in the UK with a country album, as well as hitting number 1 on the singles chart with Texas Hold 'Em.
Having both of the two top spots side by side with a country music album has made music history in the UK.
Her latest album, Cowboy Carter, broke a record that even country music legend Dolly Parton, 78, has not broken.
This is the second time the 42-year-old has reached an Official Chart Double.
Over twenty years ago in 2003 the mother-of-three secured the top spots with her debut solo album, Dangerously In Love, and the iconic Crazy In Love singe.
Beyonce has hit a career best with three of her tracks from Cowboy Carter hitting the charts, the now TikTok famous hit Texas Hold 'Em is joined by Jolene and Most Wanted, featuring Miley Cyrus.
The CEO of Official Charts, Martin Talbot, sang Beyonce's praises as he said: 'In a career of huge achievements, congratulations to Beyonce on securing a slew of UK chart records with her country single and album this week, underlining her position as one of the world’s most ground-breaking musical artists.'
'With Texas Hold 'Em and Cowboy Carter, she this week becomes the first artist to top the Official Singles Chart and Official Albums Chart with country repertoire simultaneously, and the first black artist ever to take a country album to Number 1 in the UK.

This is some straight foolishness. I need to see her sell 8 to 10 million units as a solo artist. Since she thinks she's superior to everyone. She can't do it. I really don't care about her reaching number 1. Anyone can do that. I wanna see 10 million units sold. This woman told everyone to bow down and has bullies as fans. Why should Michael, Adele, Whitney, Mariah, Taylor, Van Halen, etc. ... or any human being for that matter bow down to this fake?
Uh, who buys units anymore? Anyway, woohoo, go Texas!
Congratulations Bey!!
Wish this con artist would just GO AWAY & STAY AWAY!
Ok congratulations Bey, but snitch how about a story of how Kimora’s daughter Akoi is 25 dating a 65 year old yt millionaire who looks every bit of 80. Guess she got it from her mama🤔💁🏽♀️
Congrats to her!
She looks like madonna in that picture
UK likes anything pop with a novelty and are the masters of rip off artistry. No surprise at all.
I just heard some.of the album in a car. Some.yodeling. Foul language. And I asked myself... this took 5 years? I blame lil Nas X Old Town Road. Lol
She broke records here in the US too. I’m glad a lot of people are supporting the album because it’s good, congratulations Beyonce! Vast majority of the ones saying it’s not good, of course was not going to like it because they don’t like her.
She's never reached diamond status. Not for a single or for any album.
^^^ It doesn’t matter, she will FOREVER be remembered for what she has done for the music world. She made history, even white country people as well as Mrs. Linda Martell herself are happy that because of Beyonce she’s getting the recognition she should’ve gotten years ago. Go to the pages of the black country singers that are featured on her album and ALL of them thanked her and know their newfound success is because of her. That’s better than getting a diamond album.
Highest grossing tour ever of any Black artist >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Diamond album
Yawn. Only her a$$ missing stans care.
@12:21 in the AM. Thank you. Even the kids on the short bus should understand that.
