Soulja Boy Ordered to Pay Nia Riley $10 Million

Three years ago rapper Soulja Boy was sued by his ex-girlfriend, Nia Riley, using the pseudonym Jane Doe, after accusing the rapper of abusing her throughout their relationship eventually causing a miscarriage [click here if you missed that].

Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay $10M in damages relating to a s-xual battery lawsuit from 2021.

The victim, who filed the lawsuit anonymously, alleged the rapper beat her repeatedly over years. Now, he must pay millions in damages.

"(Jane Doe) and (Way) first began their on-and-off romantic relationship in 2007," the original lawsuit stated. "They restarted their relationship in a more serious capacity in 2014 until mid 2019 when (Doe) could no longer withstand (Way's) constant abuse."

"It took her years to escape the psychological and physical grasp of her abuser," Rahmani told USA TODAY.

The accuser said she and the rapper lived together by late 2015, and she was pregnant with his child. The docs then cite one specific attack so severe that she suffered a miscarriage.

Per the lawsuit, one day the two were having a "simple conversation" when Way "quickly became irate and violent."

Now, according to the docs, obtained by The Blast, the rapper must pay $5M in pain, suffering, and inconvenience, and $5M in emotional distress, totaling $10M in damages.

This is not the first lawsuit to be filed against Soulja Boy. In January 2021, a woman, who worked as his personal assistant, filed a civil suit alleging he s-xually abused her, beat her, and held her hostage. According to NBC, the first lawsuit, filed by Jane Doe, "says the abuse began when Way sent the woman an unsolicited picture of his p-nis shortly after she started working for him."
