Last year "Welcome to Sweetie Pies" cast member Tim Norman was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his nephew Andre Montgomery [click here if you missed that].
Now Tim has filed an appeal claiming his civil rights have been violated...
At the center of Tim's conviction was a text message exchange between Andre and his grandmother, Robbie Montgomery, claiming he was fearful that Tim was after him [click here if you missed that].
Last month, according to reports , Tim's new high powered attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, argued that her client was denied a fair trial and that the text messages constitute hearsay and should be thrown out.
Bonjean famously worked to overturn Bill Cosby's verdict and is currently representing R. Kelly.

Life is a long long time.
This fool. He should just do his time and hope people forget about him and his child-bearing hips.
No one shedding tears for this murderer.
Stop wasting, the courts time and money. You haven't learned your lesson from your first bid in prison. Get you a husband and play mama with those hips and big ole breas-tees.
Sad Ms. Robie is bankrolling this murders' appeal
It’s cuddling season in Cell block C. Big hips. Big Butt. Can cook. Prison is a resort for guys that have those skills.
