I don't see this gaining the same traction as Katt interview. And D.L response was funnier than her whole Netflix special.
I love Monique but let me clarify some things because she's mixing up people abd stories. Rosa was not chosen over Claudette because of light skin and hair because that didn't mean squat to the KKK or YTs in the South. Claudette was a 15 year old child and therefore she was still in high school. Claudette like so many other people before Rosa took a stand on the bus and so Rosa wasn't the first but it had nothing to do with skin or hair. The late great Mr.Dick Gregory said it was another woman who should've been the face of the Civil Rights movement because it was all actually based on her, but when they found out the woman had 6 kids out of wedlock, they felt it wasn't a good look because of how society viewed unwed mothers back then. That's how Rosa was chosen.Had nothing to do with hair and skin.
Both DL and Monique both make good points about each other. As much as I enjoy hearing DL's political commentary, the simple fact he was able to hide an entire son and side piece from his wife for years tells me he's next level diabolical. His wife didn't know he had a son behind her back until the son passed away. In order to be able to achieve that, you don't have a conscience. His wife is better than me because I couldn't trust him because if you can hide living humans for years, you may have the ability to hide dead bodies too. He laid next to a woman he bwtrayed each and every day. When he told VLAD his story, I was shocked because it's not him having a chold that is scary, it's him living a double life.

She’s right on a lot of things, but she needs to redirect that anger into getting even… into doing better than they expect her to do… into making the money she’s capable of making.
Everything Mo'Nique has said in the past about Tyler, Oprah, Lee Daniels, and Netflix she has been vindicated and validated, but people just hate her for some unfounded reason and all she did was tell the truth. Smh.
