I was just talking about Eve at a party last week. I was saying how she started out a stripper (when it wasn't something to be celebrated) who let Steebie J defile her and now she done elevated to being the wife of a mogul. I ain't mad at that but I do agree. She never rocks her own hair and marrying that YT let me know she has/had issues with her Blackness. I was also reminded how she dated an extremely powerful African dictator and claimed she didn't know who he was. Guess she always been on the come-up.

I want to read it! I love Eve and the way she can rise from ashes is admirable. Every young woman should read it and be inspired.
She is not a role model, and if she is she certainly didn't start out being one.
