A week earlier, the single became the superstar’s historic first No. 1 on the multimetric Hot Country Songs survey; prior to the triumph for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” no Black woman, or female known to be biracial, had previously topped the chart.

No surprise here. Who honestly thought it wasnt gonna be a top 3 hit at least? Her stans are always gonna support her music. Thats a no brainer. The real uncertainty is whether she will win the white validation awards. Thats what she really wants.
