Two weeks ago conscious rapper Yasiin Bey was quoted claiming Drake's music is not Hip Hop [click here if you missed that].
Yasiin clarifies his statement...
In a video shared on Instagram Yasiin Bey claims he has no hate for Drake, but is entitled to his opinion. Bey insists he was not clowning the Canadian rapper and has reached out to him, but gotten no response. Yasiin prefers a face to face meeting, telling Drake he is available at any time.
Bey also says he has no issue with Drake's success and would never try to diminish his talent. He also admits criticism against Drake has been mean spirited and unfair and he doesn't want to be part of that.
Yasiin claims although there was no bad intent, Drake is not above critique.

Drake is a manufactured industry plant, why are folks surprised look at the state of "music" today, with the "sexy reds" "doja cats" and these types lacking any real talent, but more shock value. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, not everyone is blinded to the smoke, mirrors and AI beats masking real music, Yasiin was from an era of actual real musicians with real talent, not the manufactured crap you hear today. I have all my CD's with the classics and that's all I listen to, I will never spend coins on these manufactured industry clones of today.
Drake is definitely a plant, he copy everyone's style and has done so since the beginning. He is NOT talented, and as Megan the Stallion stated best, he is a cosplay gangsta. Which is more laughable than anything, nothing more funny that him trying to play tough. He pays J Prince a heck of a lot of money for protection. He like 99% percent of so-called music today is a joke!
