Tyrese Gibson’s ex-wife, Samantha Lee, has filed for contempt of court against her ex-husband, claiming that the actor has failed to pay child support, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Lee is dragging her ex-husband back to court for allegedly failing to pay his court-ordered child support of $10,690 for their 4-year-old daughter, Soraya.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the Fast & Furious actor supposedly only paid less than half of the amount in December 2023 and January 2024, despite being required to pay the full amount.
This is not the first time that Lee has taken legal action against Gibson for his failure to pay child support.
In March 2023, she filed her first motion for contempt, leading to the court holding the actor in "willful contempt."
In July 2023, Lee was forced to file another motion against Gibson due to his continued failure to fulfill his financial obligations towards their daughter.
Following a hearing in October, Gibson was ordered to make all future child support payments in a timely manner. However, according to the report, he has once again failed to do so.
In her recent motion, Lee is not only requesting that Gibson be held in contempt but also asking for him to cover her attorney fees. Additionally, she is seeking interest on the unpaid portion of the child support that has accrued.

12:22, $10,000 a month is only $120,000 a year when most celebs spend more than that on clothing, jets, and trips alone. Basically, his child's needs are cutting into the money he wants to spend on new women. He's selfish. Truth be told, his child support is so low he could easily put 2 million in an account and have the $10,000 deducted and be done with the entire matter. If men earning $100,000 a year before taxes and insurance are paying over $1200 a month, Tyrese has no excuse. His earning potential is very high.
This just proves Tyrese is a manipulative liar. He was just on The Talk last week complaining that he has to pay Sam $300k a month, which is a lie. He only has to pay $10k and he's not even paying that. He's salty that he has to watch her live out her best life online while he's stuck with that girl who has the fake behind and botched body. Her backside looks like sand in a sack. There are regular businessmen who pay way more than $10k a month, so why isn't Tyrese just paying what he owes to not have to deal with Samantha? He could just pay the ten grand a month and move on to have a peaceful and happy life. He's inviting drama for nothing.
