Ice Cube Addresses Katt Williams Claims
..and backs up Katt for the most part, but denies adding a rape scene.

Katt bringing errbody out the woodwork! I respect Cube for setting the record straight to the best of his recollection. As far as the rape scene, notice he said "on camera". As a filmmaker the claim Katt made about the gay rape scene could very well have consequences for Cube going forward. It also could lend moral credibility (warranted or not) to Katt so I take both statements with a grain of salt.
The way Cube worded that, it sounds like there was a rape scene, but just like Player's Club, it was going to be implied without the optics. So Katt didn't tell a lie.
Cube going to fine forever. I thank him for shedding light on how Ricky Smiley's vs Katt on the Money Mike role. As Katt said, a business decision was made for the betterment of the movie. Cube chose correctly (obviously) and Ricky should be grateful he made the final cut at all.
Well there you have it. Cube said it right there that they had Rickey read for the part but that was it. He was not selected to play the pimp, but they allowed him to read for the part and realized his personality was not right and it would not work. After that, they gave him the Santa role. When they hired Katt for the pimp role, he read the script which was a small part but because of Katt's creativity and talent, he was allowed to write more of the dialogue and expand the role. Now the rest is history.
It goes to show you that folks will forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel. So Ricky made him feel bad and he waited 23 years reply. See long after you've done someone wrong and moved on, they remember it for years. Be careful how you treat folks.

What are you talking about? You're way off topic and who said Rickey made anyone feel bad? Rickey is feminine and didn't fit the role of a pimp on Next Friday. It's that simple.
All these responses are lukewarm clap backs. Kat came for y’all wives for crying out loud! All they’re doing is making him look truthful and not bitter. Not one person denied his claims, and the internet been bringing the receipts.
