He’s such an f/en liar and hypocrite his grandfather is a preacher but he allowed his very young son to have sex with a stripper / prostitute I can’t even remember to begin to get the story right but something to that effect….. but he’s worried about lgbtq and it’s ok to expose young men to sex and prostitution….. Well...I doubt that 'the church' has his back. I know of some 'church folks' that went to see the film in droves, and will support practically anything Jakes, Perry & Winfrey, no matter what.

When I went to see it there was not one child or teenager in the theater! I always sit through the end credits so I saw everyone leave. Not one baby, toddler, tween or teenager whatsoever!!!!

Maybe if his butt read the book, or at least cliffs, he would know this is a story for young adults and older. Not just homosexuality but also violence and racism, which is why kids have their own movies to watch instead of trying to understand grown folks business.
How are you opposed to one ‘sin’ but not the others? What values are exactly being taught to his kids or any other kids who see the adults in their life doing everything under the sun the Bible says to NOT do.

Another day of this closet case whining about something being gay. Just mad because he can't live his life as an openly gay man. I already know he can't read so I never expected him to have read the book but him being surprised about lesbian characters at his big age is sad.
So he was fine with his daughter seeing Celie get raped by her "father" and have her two kids taken away, forced into an abusive marriage where she was beaten and raped repeatedly, emotionally trauatized and alienated from her family/sister...She could se ALLLLLLLLL that, but you draw the line because she kissed Shug??
