Who cares about ole story's that didn't mean anything then and now?
It meant something. Luke use to get arrested or ran out of town. The cancelled his shows, lost a lot of revenue. Songs weren’t played on most radio station's. Videos were seldom played, if at all. He went to court and won often for, free speech. Madonna never went through all of that in music. She didn’t deserve an award. They only invited him to show inclusions about the fight of free expression.
PS. Both have trash music and both did nothing but help destroy the young children with filth and morality was lost. Disgusting

His music is poison. He does not deserve an award for that trash he and his group made.
He and his ilk were disrespectful to those who wanted better for Black people.
He hasn't mentally evolved beyond age 16 despite being a few years shy of senior citizenship.
He was never a champion of free speech for all just in protecting his own bottom line which was predicated on debasing women in his records and music videos.
Would he be happy for his own daughters to be acting like the women in his vulgar music videos while being leered over by a bunch of perverts?
He also seems confused as to how award shows work in that there are other nominees in the same category. #SMH
I can tell 90% of the ppl commenting were born in thr mid to late 90s. Whether you like Luke's music or not, he's the reason you get to listen to music uncensored. He did that. He deserves his flowers as all the other old school rappers.
