Netflix comedy The Upshaws, starring Mike Epps, Kim Fields and Wanda Sykes renewed for season 4...
From Variety
Another season of “The Upshaws” is coming to Netflix, Variety has confirmed. Production on the 10-episode season is scheduled to start in 2024.
As with Season 2 (which was split into two parts consisting of eight and six episodes, respectively), Season 3 was also split into two parts with the first eight episodes arriving on streamer on Aug. 17. The six episode Part 5 is slated to premiere in Spring 2024.
Starring Mike Epps, the series follows Bennie Upshaw (Epps), “the head of a Black working class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family — wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two young daughters (Khali Spraggins, Journey Christine) and firstborn son (Jermelle Simon), the teenage son (Diamond Lyons) he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis) — and tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law (Wanda Sykes), all without a blueprint for success. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work, and make it to the next level, together. In this upcoming part, the Upshaws continue to ride life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger dreams, health struggles and some major life surprises but still hanging on with the love that comes with family,” reads the official synopsis, per Netflix.

Oh & Gabrielle Dennis IS Amazing 💯 LOVE Her - Especially In The Black Woman's Comedy Show✔️
Yes! Gabrielle Dennis became my favorite thru Blk Women’s Sketch show and hands down when she was Whitney Houston.
For anybody who watches this show, please tell me why because I must be missing something. I want to love this show because Kim Fields is one of my favorites but I just can't get that spark. I watched two episodes and it just didn't tug on me to watch episode 3. What do you love about the show?
@ 2:37 PM. Some shows you have to give a chance for character development. Season 1, episode 8 was hilarious.
@ 2:37 PM I get it, it didn't work for me either. The same goes for Scandal. I couldn't get into it like a lot of people.
