He's a whole lie if he says he's never heard of her.
My husband and my son have never heard of her! Why is he so wrong? This is such a waste for such a backlash. Who cares, they’re married!
Is that Simone as a child.
F**k the fame and popularity. Just give me the money! The real flex is being the average Joe with no social media or extra attention. Stay low key and out the way.
@3:23 Looks like it, but I don’t know.
I was watching something and they were saying how Bad Bunny made like $400M in concert last year. I have no idea who Bad Bunny is, couldn't pick him out in a lineup or name a single song of his. I use Google daily. My point is everybody doesn't have to know of somebody just because they're famous or popular. People need to let it go and move on and hopefully he'll learn to keep his mouth shut or choose his words more carefully.
He still looks zesty.
Where are her boobs?
Leave this Black, married couple alone.
@6:13 NO!!!!
These young ppl have heard of nothing. In fact he could have seen her, watched the Olympics, read a book about her... but pay so little attention turn around and he never heard of her. He's not lying.
I give this marriage 5 more years.
That’s the point y’all. He knew about Gabby Douglas yet was trying to make it seem like he didn’t know about the gymnast world. So how he miss Simone? But was tweeting about Gabby in 2012, and they were in the Olympics together that year?! He’s a liar and she’s just happy to have a hubby. That is all.
Whether he knew about her or not, as her husband and head of that house, his answer should have prioritized protecting their family over anything else. By telling "his truth" about how they met he opened them up to intense media scrutiny and backlash... all to feed his ego of being the catch. He needs more media training before his next interview.
Y'all know she was in the room with him when he said it, right? He never joked about anything behind her back that he wouldn't say in her face. Those folks are happily married. Stay out of their business.
I wish her all the best, but she has an ugly spirit and always had it. She'll learn sooner than later.
She's a beautiful soul, I loved how she reached out to this little girl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc3lqwKFvFI

^^^d@mn. Almost errbody was being flown out to the little island of horrors. Smh
No matter which way you spin it, he is embarrassingly wrong. He could have spoken better but what is very clear is that the young man possesses an inferior complex. Simone Biles is a rare gymnastic gem. In the whole wide world of sports it’s so hard to believe her hubby’s ignorance. Once he “discovered she was 100% more popular than himself” he decided to interview foolishly. The backlash is well deserved.
To Anon @ 6.50, nobody was in their business until he put it out there all in a manner chosen uniquely to himself. The point is that people do have a right to express their opinions especially when a NFL player comes off arrogantly disrespectful of his wife’s athletic achievements AFTER the fact. No matter “how much in love they are in” hubby’s penchant for the inarticulate has clearly got people watching his marriage to America’s sweetheart champion.
Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc do not cost a thing. What uneducated nonsense is this? Who does this bumbling rambling arrogant guy think he is? No matter what his NFL position or team, he’s the come up, not her.
