Jonathan Majors has girlfriend Meagan Good and his family by his side at his New York City assault trial.
Majors, 34, arrived at the New York City Criminal Court for the start of his misdemeanor assault trial Monday morning dressed in a black coat with silver buttons and a dark beret. He walked into the courtroom hand-in-hand with his mother, who wore a black-and-white checkered coat, and Good, 42.
Jonathan’s sister, as well as Meagan’s mother and several friends of the couple, filled the courtroom's first two rows behind the actor's defense counsel before opening statements in the indictment filed regarding charges relating to Majors' ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Good, whom Majors has been dating since May, has accompanied Majors to a number of recent hearings in the weeks leading up to the trial.
Majors was charged with several accounts of assault and harassment after his arrest in March, according to the criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE. The Marvel actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges. If convicted, he could spend up to a year behind bars.

Now ain't nobody paying for no whole family to accompany him to court. Only a dummy would believe that foolishness. Stop those lies! Y'all desperate to bury this man. Some people will do anything to prove that white lady didn't exaggerate what happened. She claimed he broke her finger but when you review the video of her partying at a club right after the incident, she behaved normally and her finger was not broken. As a matter of fact, she was having a great time. You can easily read the court transcripts and she said she reached over, grabbed the phone out of his hand after she saw the I want to kiss you message from another woman. She then became enraged. It's blatantly obvious that text was from Meagan. The bots & trolls are working over time to finish this man and you have to ask yourself why. They're overloading the internet with messages to smear him in an attempt to win in the court of public opinion. Were they both tussling as she tried to force his phone out of his hand? Probably. But it also seems she tried to retaliate by calling the police when she found out who was texting him. Then she ran to London when it got out of hand.
Why is everyone so quick to defend him? He's clearly using Megan and her family for PR and to save his career. They've been together a few months and now her mom accompanies him to court? Very strange. Someone's mortgage is getting paid and the contract will be complete once the trial is. Bunch of goofy delusionals in these comments.
