The house of Blues may need to find another act. Is Jodeci known for a good work ethic & reliability?

I’m going to try to go. Let’s hope they aren’t high or drunk since KC swears that they never used drugs

@9:06 Average cost of an Adele ticket in Vegas is $1011 so they don’t need your Black money (but they’ll take it). Vegas is stupidly expensive now. Bring your ATM.

9:40, That part.
Can you imagine going to a Lauren Hill and Jodeci concert waiting to see who's going to show up? LOLOL

9:06AM speaks truth. Back in the day only Sammy Davis could play Vegas. Otherwise, it was all Wayne Newtons and the like. The Vegas PTB finally realize how powerful Black $$$ are and now want to capitalize. Isn't that always the way?

Will Jojo be sober enough to get thru the entire show or will he pass out on the floor while the group keeps on performing like nothing happened as in the past?

The Blacks are now saving the Las Vegas economy.
Believe that.

It's not always a gimmick, maybe they wanted to diversify their entertainment options.

@10:51 AM.
One Adele ain’t gonna save Las Vegas. The Blacks ain’t going. The Blacks will however pack Vegas to see Ursher, Jodeci and New Edition. THWM USHER TICKET SALES SHOWED THEM.

^^^^^ THEM USHER TICKET SALES SHOWED THEM.

@10:51 Sammy was one of the few, but others (Nat King Cole, Dinah Washington, Lena Horne) worked in Vegas . They couldn't stay at any of the hotels where they performed, but they let some of us sing and dance for them back in the day.

Doesn’t seem they have as many dates as Usher did. He did a spectacular show. Dog Jodeci can y’all try to pull it together for a good show?

Anonymous said...

How much were Usher's tickets?

I need this to include dalvin& devante

@9:06 AM Put your brain in gear, black entertainers aren't keeping Vegas afloat.

12:26 PM, YT people were going to see those Black entertainers, not us. And if those artists you mentioned couldn't even enter through the front doors to perform what makes you think they'd let a whole bunch of Blacks sit next to YT in the audience? Didn't happen.

Black entertainers were blocked in Vegas 60 years ago, people. That was a long time ago. Since then there have been a million black acts from Motown through disco through everything-but-hip-hop headlining the strip. We’re just part of the mix. If you think black acts are the only people bringing in the money then you’ve never heard of Shania Twain and Maroon 5. Or Cirque and the magicians. There are a lot of sold out venues in Vegas and we’re only in a few of them.
