The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that former President Donald Trump is disqualified from holding the presidency under the Constitution's so-called insurrection clause and ordered the secretary of state to exclude his name from the state's Republican presidential primary ballot.
The landmark decision from the divided Colorado Supreme Court that Trump cannot hold public office under the Civil War-era provision is unprecedented, and it marks the first time a court has found him to be ineligible to return to the White House due to his conduct surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Never before has a court determined that a presidential candidate is disqualified under the clause, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
The ruling does not apply outside of Colorado, and the state high court, whose justices were all appointed by Democratic governors, paused its decision until Jan. 4 — one day before the deadline for Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold to certify the candidates for the state's March 5 primary.

Of course they are letting illegals in. Nobody wants to do physical labor for trash salary anymore. The old folks are retiring and the young folks are doing Doordash and work from home jobs. This was inevitable.
The Supreme Court *might* overturn it, but, it sets a major precedent in our history, while also bringing an important conversation to the forefront: should an active sitting president be subjected to the insurrectionist amendment of the constitution? I find it funny how all of the Trumpf supporters are trying to play semantics with the constitution and what it means. Naw, he led his supporters to an insurrection, and has admitted that if reelected he will act like a dictator and never leave office. I hope his Republican constitutes who believe in the Constitution and want to uphold democracy, vote to remove him as well.
Also, if Colorado was so insignificant, then why is Trumpf appealing it? It's because he's afraid that other states will follow suit.

Hell yes. There is NO way IDIOT Trump is supposed to get by the 14th Amendment article 3. I said from the beginning, if he gets by 14-3 we may as well just say to hell with the whole constitution.
