By law the report was mandatory. Doctors have to report suspected domestic violence. Depending on her state whether she wants to press charges or not doesn't matter. They can prosecute without her cooperation.

You can always tell when a woman has no strong, positive male figures or role models in her life based on what she accepts and deals with. She needs protection from that devil but unfortunately she's too silly to understand that. She'd probably take him back if he asked her to because her self esteem is non-existent. That poor child has one heck of a battle ahead of him.
