Suge Knight is surprised there's finally an arrest in the murder of Tupac Shakur, and even though he was an eyewitness in the case ... he says he'll refuse if called to testify against the suspect, Duane "Keefe D" Davis.
TMZ spoke exclusively with the Death Row Records founder on Monday ... and he insists cops and prosecutors are barking up the wrong tree with their arrest of Davis. Even further, he refutes the long-held belief Davis' late nephew, Orlando Anderson, was the shooter.
Of course, Suge was in the BMW that 1996 night in Las Vegas when both he and Tupac were shot. During the phone call from a CA state prison, he told us regardless of what Davis has confessed to in interviews, or to police ... Suge himself won't ever say a bad word about the man.
He also said prosecutors can forget about getting him on the stand during Davis' murder trial. In a nutshell, Suge says he's not ratting out anyone. Keep in mind, of the 6 people involved in the shooting -- 4 were in the shooter's car -- Suge and Davis are the only 2 still alive.

It’s giving he’s either scared for his life(you see he ain’t about the prison life, fainting during his trial), orrr he had something to do with Tupac’s murder too, and know this man will tell on him right back if he speaks up.
Keefe D looks like a killer. Bloods like Suge are out numbered by Crips in prison and Keefe is a high ranking gangster Crip. So Suge would never tell knowing he has years to go in the clink.
He should testify to get his sorry behind some daylight. We know he could use some vitamin d since he’s been locked up. Tupac and Biggie had the worst bosses cause they weren’t their friends

I do not think Suge had anything to do with Tupac getting killed especially since he got shot in the neck area doing it
Why would Suge risk his life and have his own car shot up to kill Tupac? Y'all think he told the hitman to just graze him in the head so it won't look like a hit?
"Keefe" should have kept his mouth shut.
But why now? That's the question. What's the new information that finally got him arrested?
Keefe D has given too many interviews and too many details regarding the shooting. He was in the car and everyone else involved in the shooting is either dead or in jail. Keefe D wanted attention and he got it!! He will die in prison over a hit that Puffy took out on Tupac.
Tupac was trying to leave Death Row. Biggie was leaving Bad Boy. Their deaths was a cash windfall for both Puffy and Suge who owned their publishing and their masters. Yes, Tupac was wilidin out and did beat that man up, but there was already a target on his back. The plan to kill him was already in motion.
