Exactly. Half of these women who complain about celebrities not having rings, ain't got one themselves. Only 28% of black women are married, so the numbers don't line up with those who are complaining about others. Most of them are either getting dug out by the pizza delivery guy, the neighborhood dusty or a Jody riding around in their cars while they're at work. Cos-playing online and just complaining because they're anonymous but if we knew who they really were, their stories would make your hair stand up. Most of them can't even get a decent man to take them out on a real date but talking about who should be married. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Y'all shaming people for trying to school the youngins is unnecessary. Marriage is a contract but it's also a necessarily evil in today's world. Ain't nobody shaming them and as a matter of fact, I respect and appreciate the sanctity of marriage but half of these women on here complaining about Ashanti not having a ring has never had one and probably too afraid to tell the person d****ing them down that they want to be married. Basically, my point is walk the walk and stop criticizing people for living their lives exactly how they want to do it. This is more than Nelly has done in the past publicly for Ashanti and it's a step in the right direction. If these two decided to walk down the aisle or elope next week, it still wouldn't be enough for these gossiping bitter spinsters, because next they'll be claiming he's cheating. It's no end to what they'll complain or speculate about because they hate their lives and this is a much needed distraction from having to fix the messes they've made in their own homes.
