Malika Andrews Granted a Restraining Order

ESPN corespondent Malika Andrews granted a restraining order against deranged fan...

From The Sun
SEVERAL top ESPN personalities have been targets of unwanted attention, causing NBA Today host Malika Andrews to file a restraining order.
The 28-year-old ESPN host has been granted a temporary restraining order against a man who has allegedly terrorized her, Stephen A. Smith, and Molly Qerim.
Andrews claims that Ahmed Abubakar, a 41-year-old man from New Jersey, has made her and colleagues uncomfortable for the past year, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.
The ESPN star host expressed she thought Abubakar was just an "overzealous fan" in the initial messages to her, but the comments got worse over time.
He began messaging Andrews on X, formerly known as Twitter, in September of 2022 with threatening and harassing behavior.
Andrews also claims he got her unlisted phone number and called her numerous times over the summer.
However, this is allegedly familiar behavior from Abubakar. He acted similarly to Molly.
Andrews claims he was allegedly arrested for an unannounced visit to the First Take host's house.
TMZ provided a screenshot of disturbing messages Abubakar allegedly sent Andrews through Instagram, where Abubakar allegedly accused Andrews of getting him arrested.
"You lied to police, you b—h saying you never met me.
"I hope endometriosis destroys all your genital organs so that you never get a man, and you sickening obsession with money. My lawyer is going to sue you and make sure you send me 5000 dollars.
"I am gonna have to prove extortion against you. You scammed me like a thief for 5000 dollars, you gold-digging seeking b—h and w—e.
"You keep secrets from me, you lie to me on few instances, and you broke numerous promises by asking me for money. You are f–ked up off camera," the messages from the screenshot said.
Andrews noted that Abubakar traveled to Los Angeles looking to contact her, Smith, and Qerim at ESPN's LA studio.
A judge granted Andrews that Abubakar must stay 100 yards away from her, Smith, and her fiance and ESPN colleague Dave McMenamin.

She also needs to take shooting lessons at a gun range, and obtain a nice Glock. I'm just a regular degular citizen, and I have taken shooting lessons, and sleep with my Glock, machete and ax by my bedside. There is too much violence and violent people on planet earth. Every woman on this planet should know how to use a firearm.
