My issue with Drake is he's phony. He's a Nickelodeon kid like Brittany and Raven. Even more hilarious is he's a Canadian. He has zero connection to American Black culture but he stays fronting to the point he's disrespectful.
And all this from a cat that has ponytail's and pink barrettes in his hair smmfh these cat's have lost your mind's this cat actually has barrettes in his hair pastel pink purple and yellow just come on out the closet already smmfh
First Joe Budden like a turd that won't flush just hanging around after the facts he was a mediocre rapper who could have been a good rapper but never developed into that because he was to busy living in his own head thinking he was "the best to ever do it" instead of growing and sharping his game. Drake is partly right in that he is a frustrated ex rapper who never reached his potential due to ego and he is bitter as you can see in the whole Slaughterhouse debacle which was his last chance to possible reach the heights he was meant for. And let's not mention his last podcast crew and the funny money games to finally realize his earning potential that he never realized as a rapper because he could not get out of his own way. But I gotta say though that Drake is a JAyZ era rapper meaning that his era was effected by the success of Rocafella and Bad Boy and how they were the pinacle of commercialization of rap culture mind you not hip hop culture but rap culture eveything after that era is empowering and I love to see it at least the part about artist getting a piece of the pie versus crumbs and/or funneling rap earnings into other ventures and this all leading to them being left with nothing after all that could be wrung out of them is extracted and/or the soundscape of modern music evolves past them, I say all that to say this Joe as goofy as he is sometime was talking about the art of MCing and Drake thinks the argument I got more money than him wins the argument he has to understand that winning in the game of life is a different animal than cooking another MC on a track Jay Z is one of the biggest winners at the game of life of all of the rap alumni and he conceeds that the whiteboy got him on Renegade, another all time great 3 stacks has been out done on a track, AZ got nasty nas a all time great on a occasion or two, it happens Aubrey your not special enbrace it and sharpen your sword and Joe your a bum.
