On Friday gospel singer Kirk Franklin shared a documentary for his new album, Father's Day, where he learns that the man he thought was his father was not, and meets his biological father for the first time.
The news also brings Kirk closer to his estranged son Kerrion...

My bio is garbage. I took a DNA test at 27 and it proved he’s the actual garbage and it still didn’t act as a father.
So he thought a man was his daddy for years but never DNA tested that man? That's odd. And the momma denying that she slept with his actual daddy is also weird. What I couldn't get over is Kirk dressing like he's 13. He looks much older than 53 and wearing junior clothes doesn't make him look younger.
His father seems like a decent person.
Wow, I can’t believe i just watched all of this. He is amazing…just amazing. I am just bawling out for him too! Such a life of dysfunction he was clearly born into. Yet, amazing despite that dysfunctional traumatic life. And going through this process of sharing his story…and having an album to advertise and sell with it? I aint mad at him at all. He is truly a gift.

This was a very touching moment, I'm happy he knows the truth. His mom is very delusional and immature. Regardless of what she feels about the biological father, she needs to put her own feels aside if she wants a relationship with her son. And by the documentary clip, she obviously does not.
Kirk ain’t sh!t I still remember what he did to his son. I believe his son.
His mother has been traumatized by the church. The worst a church going lady can be called is loose. Admitting that she was hoeing it up is admitting that she is an unvirtuous woman. She cannot admit that, even at the cost of losing her son.
