In a message shared on Instagram Lizzo paints her accusers as disgruntled employees who didn't meet her high standards and are using her openness about her sexuality against her.

Lizzo is talented for sure but I doubt she would've gotten this far if she didn't sell sex and kept her clothes on. Once she twerked it was a rap. She's just like the rest of the Hollyweirdos. She figured out the formula, got a little shine and it went to her head. Now it's time to pay the piper because there's a cost to being Ms Fat It Girl of the day.
I think this is a ploy to humble another blk artist - they specifically target the most popular blk artists (Jay/Bey seem to be an exemption - I wonder why) for imprisonment or criminal/sexual allegations. It's honestly becoming a recurring theme; Bill Cosby, T.I, Lil Wayne, DMX, Chris Brown, Jonathan Majors, Tiffany Haddish, and now it's Lizzo's turn...meanwhile, their own prized celebrities never get a fraction of this kind of bad press. The only one who came close was Ellen D. That Gigi Hadid chick was caught bringing marijuana into the Caribbean island and that story died the same hour that it was reported on. But let that have been Lizzo or some other blk celebrity and we'd still be hearing about possible drug distribution charges smdh. This is a money grab and I stand by Lizzo.
Too many women that were employed by her are saying she did this in addition to just being awful to work with and for. I definitely believe them, people have been tweeting about her behavior for years but no one paid attention until now.
She publicly harassed Chris Evans and everybody just laughed it off but I didn't think it was funny at all. It's one thing to flirt but she kept going on and on even when it was obvious he wasn't interested.
She seems to be mean spirited and retaliatory in addition to just being an old fashioned bully.
Not to excuse her but most if not all, Hollywood entertainers are abusive, ego maniacs, bullies or degenerate in some way. I believe she allowed them too much openness and close proximity to herself.

That's the thing about the media's takedown of our blk celebrities, they always have several witnesses who can substantiate their allegations. When Johnny Depp was accused of abuse, they couldn't find anyone outside of Amber Heard to corroborate the allegations. The same for Ellen D, Charlie Sheen and the pedophile from the TV series 7th Heaven. When it's our celebrities they leave no room for doubt - there's always more accusers and witnesses willing to substantiate an accusation against a black celebrity. Even our most wealthy celebrities can be brought down - but not theirs.

No, they weren't supposed to get away with it, but, they also shouldn't have gotten the huge negative press attention, either. The way the media goes in on black celebrities, you'd think they were the only ones commiting grievances and crimes. We still don't have the full story of who Charlie Sheen was infecting with HIV (despite knowing, and withholding his status from his sexual partners); did People or Time magazine interview all the women he slept with, and ask how he devastated their lives? What about Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner? Where is the expose on his parties or the drugs that he gave young women before having sex with them (identical to Bill Cosby)? Where is the backlash to Johnny Depp and the abuse he inflicted on his ex wife? What about the actor from 7th Heaven who raped a 7 year old? Where is the "Surviving..." Documentary on him at? Why is Kevin Spacey not ostracized from Hollywood, despite raping 14 year old boys? My point is that, only black celebrities get crucified in the media, while their prized celebrities can just wait the turmoil out and continue on with their lives and careers uninterrupted. It's biased and I'm sick of our ppl taking the hot and not theirs.
I'm a 70s baby so I take pride in critical thinking so I'm gonna read between the lines...This whole sh*ts kinda funny 🤣 I can see Lizzo being a b*tch & I can see these Gen y & z's being too damn sensitive & hvg little work ethics. Lizzo is fairly new to fame and probably not that experienced managing ppl. Therefore, I can totally hear her getting outta pocket & not being professional. I believe it. Lizzo has been bullied her entire life about a body that she refuses to change. I can see her taking out her frustration on other fat women. Lizzo is guilty as charged. Managing people and their personalities is skill that is learned, clearly no one has taught Lizzo how to be a professional with her staff.

I remember seeing a short TikTok with Lizzo saying that others were doing her dance wrong. She can barely do the dance the correct way but had the nerve to have a attitude. The jokes wrote themselves! Lol!
