Wow! What an honor. Katt Williams, God is going to continue blessing you real good. Katt saw that after all these years, Ms. Melba Moore did not have a star on the walk of fame and he made it right. Melba made a lot of strides in Hollywood when black people were not considered good enough. Congratulations to her and I hope Melba's story can one day really be told. We've had at least 4 or 5 Bobby Brown movies, now it's time for someone else to get a movie.
Here's some old, but not stale tea ... Melba was in love with the actor Clifton Davis and he broke her heart. And Vondi (yes, that Vondi) used to do drag in Detroit and performed as Melba (and Diana Ross). He did drag before he got the stage job in Dream Girls back in the 80s.
More 70’s tea. Melba and Sara Dash were messing with the same man. Sara let Melba marry him and he spent all Melba’s money on Sara. He robbed Melba blind.

This isn't 114, but I also heard the hubby ran through Melba's money. I didn't know it for Sara Dash, but I'm not surprised. Melba might be set now, but she was broke for a minute. At least that was the word on the curb.
@3:12 My sister was on the board of the school that gave her daughter a full scholarship because Melba was destitute. Mr. Husband had a record label and put all her money in his name. If you don’t know what you’re talking about stay in your lane.
Melba was an absolute FOOL for letting her husband handle all her money. He robbed her blind and it took years to get back on her feet. Melba comes from a long line of black women who got their pockets ran though by the men they were with or married to. Sad but true.
