Lizzo is about to be the walking definition of cancelled. Abusing fat women for being fat? Ain’t no coming back from this one.
So they giving Lizzo the Jonathan Majors treatment (i.e. fame revocation for being "uppity")? It's funny how when one of their stars are accused of similar behavior they don't unleash 2-15 ppl to substantiate those claims - Johnny Depp, pedophile from the TV services, 7th Heaven, Charlie Sheen, Chet Hanks- when it's our own being accused (not even indicted) it's 24/7 media coverage and at least 5 witnesses to said behavior; the yt media really knows how to make an allegation stick when it comes to our ppl. Smh. I'll wait on the facts and what can be proven in court. Not too long ago it was #BelieveAllWomen and that Alab. Chick made a liar out of all black women. I'll reserve judgement for Lizzo because she's done a lot of amazing work & visibility for black women and other racial minorities who were previously "unseen". I'm not about to believe these allegations of harassment or disrespect until someone shows me that shyt on video. Being an abled bodied woman is not an excuse for victimhood. If you don't like the situation, or feel uncomfortable, then it's incumbent on YOU to establish your boundaries and enforce them when necessary. Termination of employment couldn't be at play when you're ultimately fired anyone. It's better to leave on your own terms, especially, when you feel like you've been violated or disrespected. Otherwise, it's just going to come down to a game of "he said, she said" money grab.
