Gaye’s career took a hit when he was with his ex wife because black women didn’t like that he said she was with him when he was broke. Everyone was feeling him until she was revealed to be nonblack. He didn’t just up and abandon her. Stop! Black women with their bitter asses did that so quit lying!

Honestly, I liked Taye and April together. I understand why the little boy was hurt because Taye came in acting like he adored April and the kids, and they probably feel he abandoned them after gaining their love and trust. However, the way he speaks to mom must be addressed even though I know why he was upset. My play step daddy left us too and it did suck. Lol.
April seemed skeptical of Tayes intentions at first and seemed unsure, but she seemed to really enjoy and want the relationship. She grew comfortable over time and they were cute together. I hope she isn't hurt because although they were an odd couple, they seemed to accept each other.
That being said, I think April was probably more genuine and Taye was more manic. I hope he didn't fulfill his fantasy and leave. I hope it was mutual. Breaks are good. I guess Omarion is trying to make April and the kids feel better. I see myself in this situation because I adored my mom's boyfriend, but a couple years in he was sick of playing dad.
